About the Clinic |
Strabism is a condition in which the visual axes of the right and left eyes are not parallel. Most cases are caused by an imbalance of the extraocular muscle. In a newborn baby, the unstable eye, caused by an imbalance of the extraocular muscle, may seem like strabism, but it returns to normality in about two to four months. Amplyopia appears in approximately 50% of the children with strabism; as such, strabism, amplyopia, pediatric cataract and other pediatric ophthalmology clinics have been prepared.
