 Founded in 1957 to fulfill Catholic values through medical care, research and service, the Catholic University of Korea Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital is one of the leading university hospitals of northern Gyeongg-do.
The International Health Service Center opened its doors following the signing in 2000 of an MOU with the 18th Medical Command of the United States Army Korea. The Center serves the healthcare needs of over 4,000 patients annually, delivering high-quality medical services to locally-stationed U.S. servicemen and their families, as well as general international patients. In 2006, the Center was designated by Gyeonggi-do's provincial government as a primary provider of healthcare services to international patients for the northern section of the province, and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Under a cooperation arrangement with International SOS, the Center is ensuring that international travelers and workers receive the quality medical care they need even away from home, among others by placing English-speaking physicians and staff in the emergency unit.

The International Health Service Center is staffed by doctors and nurses who can communicate in English and Korean. Our staff are fully prepared to serve the medical needs of foreigners. Patients receive primary care at the International Health Care Center and are easily referred to all of Uijongbu St. Mary's specialists and services. |

Doctors trained in both general medicine and specialty areas provide an initial examination, and then provide immediate treatment or guide you to the appropriate services, specialized medical centers , and state-of-the-art testing facilities, staying with you every step of the way. The staff of the International Health Service Center remains your primary point of contact throughout your visit to Uijongbu St. Mary's Hospital. Even after you leave the hospital, our doctors will follow up your case to ensure your well-being. |

| Cash or credit cards are accepted as payment for services through the International Health Service Center. Foreign insurance holders should get reimbursed directly from their insurance company.
