Welcome to the website of Catholic University of Korea Uijeongbu St. Mary’s Hospital.
Uijeongbu St. Mary’s Hospital was established in 1957 to practice the teachings of Christ by caring for the sick, conduct medical research and serve the community. During its 50-year existence, Uijeongbu St. Mary’s Hospital has grown to the leading university hospital of northern Gyeonggi-do. With 642 beds, our premier medical services are backed by top-of-the-line infrastructure, including 30 clinical departments, an emergency center, endoscopic procedure center, renal dialysis center, wellness center, stroke center, cardiovascular center and a cancer center.
In 1999, our hospital was designated by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare as the primary emergency medical center serving its northern region. We are comprehensively responsible for medical response to major disasters occurring in the local area and patients requiring urgent attention. More recently, we entered into a consultation agreement with the 18th Medical Command of the United States Forces in Korea, enabling us to extend high-quality medical services to U.S. servicemen and their families. Meanwhile, through our in-home services, we are ensuring that our patients receive continuous medical attention even after hospital discharge.
